Conceived in 2025 in the industrial ABC region of São Paulo, SKINMETAL brings the raw force of heavy metal with a sound that's unmistakable, aggressive and real.

Created by engineer and technology enthusiast José Carlos Schiabel, SKINMETAL is Brazil's first Heavy Metal band forged by Humans and AI — combining diverse influences into a sound built to conquer the global scene.

The project explores what happens when technology becomes a creative instrument without replacing the human spirit behind the art.

J.C. "Ski"

Drummer (Virtual)

Discovered drumming at 10 through a worn-out Iron Maiden tape — by 12 he was pounding rhythms on pots and pans. An engineer by training, Ski brings technical precision and relentless power to SKINMETAL's rhythm section.

Marco Alvarenga

Vocalist (Virtual)

Raised in Santo André singing Metallica at school talent shows, Marco channels Hetfield's growl and Dickinson's range. His raw emotional delivery and lyrics exploring rebellion and dystopian futures define SKINMETAL's voice.

Alejandro Martinez

Lead Guitarist (Virtual)

Picked up a borrowed guitar at 14 after hearing Megadeth's Rust in Peace. A biology background gives Alejandro a unique lens on composition — solos built to "hit like lightning and linger like a sunset."

Marcelo Rubio

Rhythm Guitarist (Virtual)

Inspired by Sepultura live in São Paulo at 17, Marcelo left a corporate career behind to deliver the crushing, groove-laden riffs that anchor SKINMETAL's sound.

Lorenzo Bianchini

Bassist (Virtual)

Found his calling at 15 hearing Steve Harris's galloping bass on The Number of the Beast. A free spirit who's chased metal festivals across three continents, Lorenzo wants the bass to "sound like the heartbeat of the music."
